Creating a safe route to schools in Manitou Springs is unique for every family and school. Here are some trail segments that can be assembled into a route specific to your family needs.
- Creek Walk Trail is the major east/west trail artery in Manitou Springs
- Fountain Creek pedestrian bridge, built in partnership with Concrete Couch, connecting El Paso Blvd to Manitou Ave just west of El Monte Pl. See the red dashed line in the map below.
- Trail to the Manitou Springs high school connecting Tyler Rd to the high school parking lot. See the blue dashed line in the map below.
Please partner with us to continue to build better safe routes to school for students in Manitou Springs. This can involve sharing your ideas and concerns with the Manitou Springs School Board, City Council, Mobility and Parking Board, etc.
