Ben Schmitt is the City of Manitou Springs Government’s Public Services Director and City Engineer, and regularly rides his bicycle to work. Ben enjoys replacing short car trips and errands with his electric bicycle which makes getting to/from home and work a breeze, and he encourages others to do the same. Riding a bike is a great way to exercise, to get around Manitou, supports Manitou’s multi-modal vision, and is an excellent way to experience our community in a different way.
